A really special one of a kind makeover from the master Jim Weyandt over at JamCity Guitars.  Let s first start with a 2000 Gibson R9 from the Good Wood era that was sent to JamCity for a complete makeover.  The guitar has been painted and finished by Jim in a true nitro finish, Brazilian fingerboard and inlay upgrade, vintage truss rod, jumbo frets, and groover tuners installed.  The faded cherry finish is the real deal and this guitar is something special.  Jim also aged the guitar and the checking is beautiful.  When the original owner had it there was a real set of 59 PAF s in it but we did the next best thing.  From our parts stash as an original Virgil Arlo dealer we installed a set of ultra rare double cream bobbin Virgil Arlo 1959 humbuckers.  Right now the covers are on them but we can take them off for the new owner.  I ll look for a picture when we had the covers off and ad it.  This is a rare guitar as Jim is no longer doing these full Makeover s and the pickups are worth $2k by themselves.  She includes a Jam City COA and OHSC.  Don t sleep on this one because it s so good I may just hang it in my office and keep it myself!
